As an advocate, 

I want to help parents become informed and 

relevant members of the ARD team. I want to bring my experience and knowledge to the team to best support the student to reach their goals.


As a teacher, 

I want to help students reach their goals

 in reading and writing.

I use a multisensory approach that focuses on learning and applying 

reading and writing skills.

I also want to empower parents to 

become teachers through books and videos in

Apple Adventures

Reading and writing instruction is provided on weekdays after school.

I know I have been successful when students reach their emotional and educational goals.

My instruction is student and data-driven.

My role as an advocate is to facilitate communication and understanding between the family and the school to develop a plan to best help the student reach their emotional and educational goals.  

Decisions by the ARD/ IEP team should be data-driven. 

The data determines the instruction.

The data determines the LRE or Least Restrictive Environment of the student. 

Inclusion is key for both emotional and educational growth.
